At Metaphrase, the highest priority is protecting patient information and complying with all applicable HIPAA regulations. All medical information is managed, tracked and monitored through our proprietary information system called Transflow. Transflow runs from a secure server which encrypts all data communication. The system can only be accessed from inside our transcription center and requires a valid username and password. Transcriptionists can only access your audio files from inside the system and they cannot save files to a floppy disk or remove data from the system. As the transcriptionist completes their transcription they can only forward the data to the next level of service. Finally, when approved, the system encrypts the completed transcription and quickly transmits it to your office in the manner you’ve selected.
